Chip began his career in the 1970’s as a mover and has learned the business from the ground up. Responsible for moving companies throughout the United States, Chip developed expertise in operations and administration. In 1990, he started Dircks Moving Services along with his brother Rick and is accountable for all of the company’s activities.
Chip is active in a number of industry related organizations. In May of 2009, he was named to the Board of Directors of UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of Mayflower Transit, and served until 2019. He currently sits on the board of the moving industry’s trade group, the American Moving and Storage Association, and he is also on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Trucking Association. In addition, Chip is a member of the Ho Ho Kams, a civic organization in Mesa, and in 1998 he was awarded the Arizona Business Leadership Award from Arizona State University. Chip recently stepped down as Chairman of the AZ Transportation Education Foundation (ATEF) Board of Directors, but still remains a member of its Board.
Chip lives in Chandler with his wife Patty and has one son, Matt.
Rick has been in the moving industry for 35 years. In that time, Rick has worked in various sales and management positions throughout the western United States. Rick is responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities for Dircks and personally manages certain accounts. He is a three-time recipient of Mayflower’s Masters Club Inner Circle, which recognizes the top salespeople in the country.
Rick is very involved in industry and community entities. He is currently the Board Chair for the Arizona State University Alumni Association, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, WESTMARC, Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business, and the Arizona State University President’s Club, and is a Life Director of the Fiesta Bowl.
Rick lives in Chandler with his wife Robin and has two children, Maddie and Morgan.
Josh has nearly 20 years of experience in local, interstate, and international trucking and transportation. He has an extensive background in the transportation industry, with previous roles in customer service, dispatch, and operations before assuming multiple corporate leadership roles. Josh is passionate about safety and customer service and understands what it takes to deliver a great outcome for our customers.
Josh is from Southern California, but moved to Phoenix in high school and considers himself a Phoenician. In his free time, Josh enjoys motorcycling, camping, and spending time with his family.
Gary has been in the moving industry for over 40 years. He is a second generation mover having been raised by parents who owned a moving company.
Gary and his wife Linda have three grown children and two grandchildren. They are both avid pickle ball players and enjoy just about every outdoor activity.
Brandon joined the Dircks Corporate Sales Team in September 2000 as a recent graduate of The University of Iowa. Brandon has been in the industry for 24 years and has his certification in project management from IOMI (International Office Moving Institute). He is a multi-year winner of the Dircks Salesperson of the Year award and a proud Board Member of the Commercial Relocation Network (CRN).
One of the things Brandon likes most about his role at Dircks is the opportunity to build relationships with people in different roles within a variety of industries around the world.
Jim has been involved in the Third-Party Logistics Industry (3PL) for nearly 40 years in the state of Arizona. In his experience working for local, regional and national logistics companies, Jim has managed the planning, organizing, directing, staffing and controlling of the marketing and operations for cold storage, dry grocery, consumer/general commodity products and chemical industries. In addition to business development in the public and dedicated warehouse operations, Jim is experienced with value-added segments including packaging and fulfillment services along with the transportation services that are required in today’s logistics environments.
Over the years, Jim has been associated with several logistics associations and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, a global association designed to enhance and educate today’s managers in logistics. Jim also contributes to the next wave of supply chain students by guest speaking at the college level.
As the Customer Service Manager, Jose works with an elite group of Customer Service Coordinators and an exceptional administrative staff to deliver world class customer service to customers.
Jose was born in Manhattan and is a proud Yankees fan. When not off-roading in his Jeep, Jose can be found hiking all around Arizona.
