Chip began his career in the 1970’s as a mover and has learned the business from the ground up. Responsible for moving companies throughout the United States, Chip developed expertise in operations and administration. In 1990, he started Dircks Moving Services along with his brother Rick and is accountable for all of the company’s activities.
Chip is active in a number of industry related organizations. In May of 2009, he was named to the Board of Directors of UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of Mayflower Transit. He currently sits on the board of the moving industry’s trade group, the American Moving and Storage Association, and he is also on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Trucking Association. In addition, Chip is a member of the Ho Ho Kams, a civic organization in Mesa, and in 1998 he was awarded the Arizona Business Leadership Award from Arizona State University. Chip was recently elected Chairman of the AZ Transportation Education Foundation (ATEF) Board of Directors.
Chip lives in Chandler with his wife Patty and has one son, Matt.
Rick has been in the moving industry for nearly 30 years. In that time, Rick has worked in various sales and management positions throughout the western United States. Rick is responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities for Dircks and personally manages certain accounts.
Rick is very involved in industry and community entities. He is currently the Board Chair, for a second consecutive term, for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in Central, Northern and Western Arizona, a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for WESTMARC, the Arizona State University President’s Club and the Fiesta Bowl.
Rick lives in Chandler with his wife Robin and children, Madison and Morgan.
Josh has nearly 20 years of experience in local, interstate, and international trucking and transportation. He has an extensive background in the transportation industry, with previous roles in customer service, dispatch, and operations before assuming multiple corporate leadership roles. Josh is passionate about safety and customer service and understands what it takes to deliver a great outcome for our customers.
Josh is from Southern California, but moved to Phoenix in high school and considers himself a Phoenician. In his free time, Josh enjoys motorcycling, camping, and spending time with his family.
Gary has been in the moving industry for over 30 years. He is a second generation mover having been raised by parents who owned a moving company. Gary’s experience ranges from when he was in high school through college, working at the local level. Gary started out washing trucks and sweeping warehouse floors and then on to the local crews and packing crews. Eventually he segued into sales where he spent several years in that position. Continuing to expand his skills and knowledge lead him into management and then on to agent ownership.
Gary’s wealth of industry experience also includes tenure at the executive management level of a van line and also in the portable storage industry. Gary and his wife Linda have three grown children and two grandchildren. They are both avid pickle ball players and enjoy just about every outdoor activity.
Brandon joined the Dircks Corporate Sales Team in September 2000 and is a graduate of The University of Iowa. One of the most interesting stories he has about the industry is when US Airways hired Dircks to manage the logistics and moving for the America West/US Airways merger. Brandon was part of the team who decommissioned 3 facilities and opened 4 new ones. Over a 9 month period this team managed office moves for over 3500 people, more than 60 truckloads of record storage and an IT upgrade project that required picking up equipment at over 100 airports around the country and delivering to recycling facilities on the coasts. Brandon is a Rotary member and committee chair and is also in the Iowa Alumni Association. He is married with one child and two dogs.
Brandon has been in the industry for 18 years and is a certified project manager. He was awarded Dircks Sales Person of the Year in 2001,2005 and 2009. He is also a Member of CoreNet and CoreNet Young Leaders and a Board Member of the Commercial Relocation Network (CRN).
As the Customer Service Manager, Jose works with an elite group of Customer Service Coordinators and an exceptional administrative staff to deliver world class customer service to customers.
Jose was born in Manhattan but raised in Long Island. However, he lived in Queens for most of his adult life and is a proud Yankees fan.
Jose loves hiking all around Arizona. When he is not hiking, you can find him working on his Jeep Wrangler that he has had for over 16 years.
Juli has been in the moving industry for about 20 years. She enjoys working with customers and hearing the different priorities and concerns each has about the move process.
She is very involved with a small group at her church, and they have volunteered at soup kitchens, raised donations for various charities and host toy drives.
Juli and her husband Jeff have two daughters Morgan and Carly, and two cats Sophie and Mocha.
Karlie is originally from Mariposa, California, a very small town right outside of Yosemite National Park. She moved to Phoenix in 2014 after attending college in Santa Barbara, California. Karlie enjoys traveling and volunteering with recuse dogs and cats in her free time.
Kathy has over 20 years of experience in the moving industry as a national account coordinator for household goods and international. She has spent the last 10 years as a Relocation Counselor.
Kathy is thrilled to have joined the Dircks team as a Relocation Support Specialist (Inside Sales). Her favorite part is when she is able to interact with the customers.
When Kathy is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, who include her husband, two children, two stepchildren, four grandchildren, and two dogs. Safe to say Kathy is just as popular with her large family circle as she is at Dircks!
Natalie joined the Dircks team after graduating from Arizona State University with concurrent degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, and a minor in Sustainability. She moved to Arizona in 2013 from West Bloomfield, Michigan, and has been enjoying the desert ever since. Natalie is responsible for managing all marketing initiatives, including branding, partner sponsorships, newsletters and marketing literature, community outreach projects, and our social media platforms and website. In her free time she enjoys hiking trails such as Fossil Creek and Devils Bridge, and spending time with her recently adopted puppy, Brownie.
