Mayflower’s “Right Move Campaign”

This is just too good not share with all of you … perfectly in line with Mayflower’s “Right Move Campaign” to help put a stop to disreputable movers, Gaylene Phetteplac turned out to be the customer we all dream of when she set out to find a company to move her belongings across country to New York City.

I wanted to touch base with you now that the move is complete and to provide feedback. The first movers we contacted appeared to be a solid company with a B rating with the BBB. Two days before the move we found out they had two company names, and the other name had numerous complaints, including ‘hostage’ complaints, and an F rating with the BBB, which is when I contacted Dircks. I’m so glad I did.

We were very pleased (and more than a little relieved) by the professional service we received from everyone at Dircks. Your company passed all of the red flag tests: an A+ rating with the BBB, only two complaints in 20 years on the DOT FMCA website, an accurate onsite inventory survey, insurance included in the price, and a specific delivery date window. (The other company ‘thought it would take a couple of weeks’, and was going to charge us double to have everything insured).

Having researched many moving companies and read numerous horror stories, I had come to the conclusion there were no good ones, just varying degrees of bad. Your company proved me wrong, and demonstrated the importance of having a reputable and nationally known company. Please extend my compliments and thanks to everyone!
