New BBB Board Leadership Announced for 2012
(Phoenix, Arizona – January 20, 2012) The Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB) has elected five Arizona business leaders to its 2012 Executive Committee.
Rick Dircks, Executive Vice President for Dircks Moving Services was named the 2012 Board Chair. Dircks has served on BBB’s board since 2007 and helped BBB fulfill its mission through his work on multiple committees focused on ethics and BBB standards.
“Rick brings a wealth of value to our board and under his leadership this year we are certain to continue moving with the speed of the market,” BBB President/CEO Matthew Fehling said.
Joining Dircks is Mary Hall, Chief Operating Officer at Take Charge America who will serve as vice-chair and Brian Mohr, Director of Talent Strategy & Acquisition at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner, who has accepted the position of treasurer. Lee Scanzano, Vice President of Customer Care Operations at Cox Communications remains on the committee as Immediate Past Chair.
New to the executive committee is Brian Burt, who has accepted the role of secretary. Burt is a partner with Snell and Wilmer and his law firm’s founder Frank L. Snell served as BBB’s original legal counsel.
“With each board member sharing their diverse experiences and insights, they truly help shape our BBB into being a leader in advancing marketplace trust,” Fehling said.
