Bill and Tina Woods are the BEST!!! I would recommend them to anyone who has a large move because they were totally on-the-ball, efficient, organized. The guy who helped them pack us
in Reno was very nice. The two young guys (they were twins) in Tucson were very good and friendly, they kind of pooped out at the end of the day but they kept going. Bill and Tina deserve special recognition because they really did an outstanding job. In Reno they had to deal with our crazy elevator situation (it was a high-rise condo building) and it took a lot longer than they expected but they handled all of the problems very professionally and with a great sense of humor. They also found out on the day of the packing/loading that we had some furniture and things at my husband’s office across the street from our apartment building but they dealt with that really well. They are super nice people and I felt we were so lucky to have them working with us!!!

My move was very efficient and the people in involved were very professional. I had a very pleasant experience, many laughs and information learned along the way. I would recommend Dircks and Mayflower to any one moving.

I do not recall the names, but I will try and describe them so that they can be identified.  Packing - Flora and one of the other ladies I believe I was told was Flora’s sister. An absolute pleasure to be around, professional, stayed on task while being cheerful, friendly and timely. They were helpful and informative with all questions. Debra and the driver - courteous and efficient, communicated well and very personable. All of the guys who helped load and unload. Hard working, polite, professional, and timely.

We just moved from Arizona to Illinois and had a wonderful experience with your company. The salesman, Jim Tate, was very helpful, the driver, Sam DeLong, and his helpers were absolutely awesome. The whole experience went great and we thank you and your staff.

We recently used Dircks to move our household from Phoenix to Portland Oregon. Dealing with every member of the moving team was positive, including the estimator, the office staff, the packers, the driver, and the unpackers. Our only “complaint” was that the bill came in substantially below the original estimate, because we chose to pack up many of our items ahead of time. The driver and his two unpacking associates were particularly conscientious. They went out of their way to take care of our items and to protect our house from damage. Their ability to maneuver large pieces of furniture up and down narrow steep stairways was quite impressive. Overall, we found every person we interacted with to be upbeat, competent, and helpful. We would definitely recommend them without reservation.

The 2 workers from Dircks were very professional. My household items and belongings were treated with the upmost gentleness and respect.  The overall experience, consultation and coordination of services provided by Dircks was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!

For years, Dircks Moving Services has stored all of the equipment necessary for the Fiesta Bowl’s Million Dollar Hole In One event presented by Fox Sports Arizona.  Patrick Cannon, Director of Event Services, provided a quick testimonial about Dircks’ services.   

Mike Tull was the moving consultant. He was so helpful in selling us just the amount of boxes and paper we needed and he demonstrated how to put the picture boxes together and pack
them. We would have been lost without him! Rose Kohl was also amazing. She was available on the phone to guide us through the packing procedure as well. She let us know we could
contact her anytime we encountered a problem during packing or any other part of the move. She was great! Bob Ireland was our driver and mover. He also was so nice and professional.
He and his crew were very efficient and on time. Bob and his crew were friendly and encouraging during the stress of moving. When Bob delivered our things, they were very accomodating
and went above and beyond to get the boxes into the right rooms. I would highly recommend all the above individuals to anyone planning a move from Phoenix. Mayflower was
recommended to me by someone else who had a great moving experience with them. Kudos to all of you.

Esteban was probably the best packer we’ve worked with in some six interstate moves over the past 20 years. He was incredibly fast, careful and friendly to boot. We’re not done unpacking yet, but so far nothing broken, nothing mistreated or poorly packed, and no full wastebaskets or trash wrapped up (as has happened more times than I can count, in the past).  He was very systematic and organized, so I’ve been able to find stuff pretty easily by looking at the box numbers: If this is box 164 and it has the frying pans, then 165 is going to have the pots. So far that’s been the case every time. Tom Lucia (the driver), Esteban (the packer) and Willie (on the Arizona loading crew) were exceptional. Those three guys really set a standard we haven’t seen in any of our previous moves, and that others will have to live up to when we inevitably move again. Also, Juli (at Dircks) was in touch with me regularly to make sure all was going as planned (it was), and Tom Baumgartner (who came out and did the walk-through and estimate) went way above the call of duty in working with us through a variety of changes in our initial plans. Together they made this one of the least stressful moves we’ve made, and each of them put a great face on a great company.

From Mike, to the scheduling, to the quality of the fabulous gents that moved me today the experience was outstanding. One of my friend’s Mom is an interior designer and she commented on how fabulous they were and wanted the number. I can’t thank you enough. I owe you one!!

Dan the driver was organized and thoughtful. He brought coloring books for my kids and was in constant communication while packing, transporting and delivering our belongings. Many thanks to him and his team.

The loading crew and driver were excellent!  Ed McBride (driver) was terrific, explained the process, assured the property was protected and handled our belongings professionally.  The crew was on time, in organized in the off-loading process, and following up to wrap up our move.

Dear Gina,

I wanted to let you know that the move was a success thanks to you! The moving truck did deliver all of our household goods yesterday to our Temecula townhouse and today I’m waiting for a call from the local crating company to come by.  They did make contact yesterday to say that they will be in our area today.

The moving team was excellent!  John and Isabel did a wonderful job packing everything and Christian, our moving truck driver and coordinator was awesome!  The furniture arrived in great shape and so far the boxes we have unpacked our fine too. 

I haven’t been involved in a move like this before but I must say it was executed perfectly! Thank you so much for all you did to make this all happen.  Now do you have someone to magically unpack the boxes and put everything away too? 

Ok back to unpacking and putting the house together for me!

Driver Dan Gutirerez was hands down the best driver I’ve ever come into contact with.  He is very professional, courteous and committed to doing a perfect move.  Don’t loose him he is an asset.

Angelo - Driver, Having moved long distance three times before this move we have never encountered such a wonderful driver.  Angelo was polite, kept us informed, and if I had to move again I would want him to perform the move.  Kim Lange - Coordinator, Kim kept us up to date with what was going on, answered all questions, made all the arrangements and was always polite and timely in returning calls.

Our consultant was very professional, answered all our concerns and was available for   any needs we might have.  His professionalism is why we went with this company.  We can not say enough of the quality of care your movers took with our move. From   wrapping furniture, mirrors, pictures, to packing it on the truck. They did an awesome   job.  The driver discussed with us when we could expect the delivery to our new   home.  He too, was in our opinion, so professional, taking care of our possessions.  Our overall experience was amazing. We have only praise for the service, and care given to us. The truck driver…Israel. He was professional, polite and handled our move as if it were his own. We were so impressed with his care of everything.  His and his helper worked hand and hand,  knowing just what to do and when to do it. Never a waisted movement.  They were always checking with us on how or what we wanted. (Their goal was to make our move a pleasant one.) We were so happy to haves had Mr Israel and his son for our entire move. They were outstanding!!

I was impressed from start to finish with each individual I interacted with from start to finish: Tom Baumgartner, Juli Hankins, the driver, John and his helper who loaded the truck and the driver Elvis and his helper who unloaded.  They all did an excellent job.

I want to recognize what a great job Mike and his team did on the Fitness Center Project.  He and his team were not only efficient they were extremely helpful and cordial to the various people they interacted with.  I have received many compliments on his actions, attitude and his ability to be flexible.  There were changes made after the equipment was placed according to the plans; he made the changes quickly and with a smile. 

Please extend my congratulations to Mike and his team on a job well done!

Dear Dircks,

We greatly appreciate the service these two men (Evarisio S. and Estevan V.) provided us. Not only were the men very professional and personal, they cared for our items (even helping us repair some!). Never have we had a service so professional, thorough and accommodating. Unfortunately, we forgot to tell the men about some items we needed to ship. The men returned from across the valley to pick up our forgotten items. We are truly grateful for their kindness and service.  We will surely be communicating with Corporate Ulta Cosmetics regarding our extreme pleasure with Dircks.

Jason, the driver of the truck deserves special merit for his overall coordination of his crews and orchestration of our move.  Although very friendly, it was obvious he ran “no-nonsense” crews (on both ends) and was serious about proper loading/inventory/unloading.  Jason is obviously a hard worker, who was actively engaged in the physical loading/unloading, yet still maintained a vigil on the other crew members’ performances. The other two members of the loading crew were also great to work with.  I was surprised to learn that one of the other loaders was also a driver, apparently waiting for his load to be scheduled. 

He seemed particularly concerned with the proper handling of our goods.  Consequently, I felt additional relief thinking that two professional drivers, both concerned with proper loading and transfer of household goods, were participating and handling our move. The unloading crew was very personable and openly displayed an obvious intent to please.  They were very receptive to requests.  In fact, my wife asked them to relocate a sofa within our house, which was NOT part of the move.  They gladly responded.  They also deserve commendation. I should also mention the move coordinator in Phoenix deserves merit.  She was relentless in calling to check on each step of the move.  She was also very prompt in returning calls when necessary.  By virtue of her efforts, we felt confident that the move was being scrutinized throughout the process. The result is: Both my wife and I were pleased by the high quality of the services rendered.  We also believe the price was very competitive, especially considering the quality of the service.

Kim Lange was very helpful with my move, and I think she did the best job at organizing and coordinating the whole move. During the recent renovation of the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, officially known as Operation Eagle Rebirth (OER), our Property team had the pleasure of working with Mike Newman and his dedication crew from May 9, 2011 through May 31, 2011.

One of the most important tasks at hand was to ensure that our hospital maintained consistency in providing positive patient care in addition to making a temporary change of location within our campus.  Mike and his crew contributed to helping us maintain quality care by being readily available and worked hard with very little down time to re-cooperate.  With their dedication to their work, PIMC was better able to function during this time, without disruptions to patient care.

Mike Newman showed genuine leadership skills by keeping informed and coordinating with two of our staff at a time to further ensure that the job and tasks at hand were being completed sufficiently. Mike, as well as the crew he oversaw, and their overall support in completing the OER mission is recognized amongst our staff here at PIMC and greatly appreciated.

I wanted to send you a quick note to share with you my experience on the move.  Given your many years of move management, I am sure you can appreciate how overwhelming the whole process can be!!  Shannon and I can’t thank the entire Dircks / Mayflower team (from the packers, to the movers, to the driver, and of course my agent) for their professionalism, personal touch, and excellent communication style throughout the entire process.

Before I forget AGAIN, I wanted to let you know that the move went very well and the young men that moved us did an excellent job. They made sure that everything was padded well and I can’t believe how quickly they had everything packed up. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that it all went well and thanks for all of the boxes, help, etc.

Five years ago when we moved from Albuquerque to Austin it was a nightmare of an experience, lost furniture, broken items and at one point they had no idea where our belongings were for two days.  Our most recent move with Dircks could not have gone more smoothly, everyone who was involved was very professional and had our best interests in mind 100% of the time.  Thank You!

I had to recently move my parents from Phx to Chicago at the last minute.  I called on a Tuesday, and Jim came by the following day to give me an estimate. Everything looked good and I asked him to set up a move date ASAP. A family member was in the hospital, about to be airlifted to Chicago, and Jim and his crew were very sensitive to the issue, especially timing the estimate and move. He scheduled a truck for that Saturday. The driver, Ed, was also extremely accommodating, and understood that my family was dealing with a medical crisis. He made sure to call and schedule a pick-up time that worked with our schedule. Ed arrived on time, with his son Alex. They were fast and very careful with all of my parent’s furniture and other items. Everything arrived on time in Chicago, and the move in went just as smooth.

Rick - I just wanted to send you a quick note to say ‘thank you” for the great service we received from Dircks.  Moving from AZ to NE during a blizzard was a bit trying on the nerves but we appreciate everything you and your employees did.  We would definitely recommend Dircks to others.  Thanks again!

Hi Bill - I just want to write a short note to thank you and everyone at Dircks for the fantastic performance on making my move from Phoenix to the Chicago area a great one.  The packers, especially Flora and Betty, did
a great job.  I don’t think you could find two more dedicated packers that are so efficient and professional at their job.  The loaders and unloaders had a real challenge to try and get all the boxes and furniture into one truck.  While they were close, a small amount of stuff was left for the overflow, which showed up only a week after the original truck.  Mark, the truck driver, was involved in the move process all the way.  He really knows his stuff when it comes to moving.  He was constantly in touch when he was on the road to make sure we were on the same page for the delivery date/time.  Julie provided many solutions to every call I made to her. She is such a blessing.
From the ‘horror’ stories I have heard from other’s that have moved, I was not expecting this short notice move to go smooth.  How wrong I was on that.  Dircks personnel did a great job of delivering on what they promise. If it comes to having to move again, I would try to get someone with the same dedication as Dircks, maybe even Dircks.

The move went GREAT! Talk about guys who hustle, and the care they took was great too!! They got the whole thing done in 5 hours. I am singing their praises all over. For the price, quality and convenience, I can’t think of a reason anyone would ever want to move themselves again.

On 10/1/10, your company moved us from Buckeye to Phoenix.  We had a lot of furniture, much of it heavy.  We want to compliment the moving team of Herli Sandoval, Luis Molina and Tony.  They did an excellent job.  They were all efficient, courteous, and even personable.  They almost made the move fun.  They did not hurt any of our belongings, and even took some apart and actually put them back together correctly.  They worked hard to fit more than should have fit into the truck.  Luis especially tried to get extra items in so that we would not have to make an extra trip.  Herli was courteous and even let me know in advance that they would have to run over the time estimated.  Just a great job!  Because of their professionalism, we will definitely consider using Dircks again.  Please let them know that they did a great job!

Hey Rick, Dennis Reardon calling to tell you how much I appreciate the work that your guys did. They were professional, they were personable. They worked straight all the way through till the job was done. Everything was handled such that nothing was broken, nothing was lost, did perfect. We are writing to tell you about an outstanding experience we had with Dircks Moving Services.  Your dispatcher, we believe her name was Christi, called us around September 24th to tell us your company would be loading our belongings in Show Low on Tuesday, September 28th. She informed us that the driver, John Dowling, would call us Tuesday morning and he should arrive at our house betwen 11 AM and 1 PM.  Our belongings were being shipped from Show Low to Apache Junction, AZ.  Mr. Dowling did indeed call us Tuesday morning and said he would be there as promised. He arrived, and much to our amazement, he was by himself - no helper!  John introduced himself, refused any assistance from us, handled and loaded his truck without one glitch. He was friendly, very positive, careful with our belongings and a 100 percent professional. He made us feel very relaxed and confident our belongings would arrive safe and without damage. And they did. We would use Dircks again and would certainly request John Dowling be our man.
He WAS the man.  We hope this letter will end up in Mr. Dowling’s file.

Your crew did an AMAZING job getting that printer down 2 flights of stairs this morning!!  STAR KUDOS to them!!  They were MOST IMPRESSIVE!!!!  Our sincere commendation and appreciation!

I just wanted to compliment the extraordinary work of the crew that moved my family this past December. They encountered difficulties due to weather on the loading end and then weather again on the unloading end accompanied by a problematic storage facility. We were rushed for time: it was right after Christmas and just before New Years when most people were at home with their families. The crew was led by Chris Simple and they couldn’t have been more helpful or positive during situations that were difficult.
