Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking an Driver who acts as a crew leader, directs loading of furniture into van, drives truck to specified destination, and unloads contents by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Transports used and new household goods and over land to and from origin to destination.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Document and log work/rest periods spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations
  • Pack & prepare items for transport.
  • Complete & sign required paperwork
  • Wraps furniture with blankets to prevent damage.
  • Wraps dishes and fragile items in packing paper and packs them into containers.
  • Loads truck, distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space.
  • Obtains customers signature or collects payment for services.
  • Follows DOT and Dircks safety policies.
  • Adheres strictly to hours of service.
  • Cleans and maintains van.
  • Collects or picks up empty containers, packing materials.
  • Must wear uniforms acceptable to Dircks Moving Services.

SUMMARY

Directs warehouse activities to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. Manages and assists in coordinating activities of workers engaged in warehouse operations. Duties may be performed personally or through subordinate supervisors.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages inventory control on inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping equipment inventory current.
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
  • Maintains USDA Food Grade Warehouse regulations.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to customer policies and procedures.
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  • Coordinate with Quality Trainer and help conduct training program for warehouse team.
  • Oversees staffing issues with input from the Chief Operating Office.
  • Participates in budgeting and makes budgetary recommendations.
  • Conducts investigations and carries out disciplinary action with HR and COO.
  • Completes and administers performance reviews to warehouse and customer service team.
  • Requires previous experience managing and working with a Warehouse Management System.

Manages up to six subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-40 employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. SUMMARY

Duties include plan, develop and execute comprehensive SEO & SMO-powered content marketing strategy that driver key metrics across the customer lifecycle. Research, analysis, advertising materials development, direct mail, web-site content development, organization of product expositions, exhibiting at trade fairs and conventions, proposal development and preparation of reports to assist with decision making. Works under limited supervision and has total project responsibility. May provide training and direction to support staff. This is distinguished from direct sales and marketing research jobs but may include elements of each.

  • Full understanding and implantation of SMO across multiple channels

SUMMARY

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

  • Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Vaults household goods into designated containers
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers.
  • Assembles customer orders from racking and prepares orders for delivery out.
  • Assist in receiving customer items into warehouse.
  • Pad wraps furniture items
  • Receives household good shipments into the warehouse

  • Help as needed on both the household and logistics end of warehouse shipments.

SUMMARY

This position services a critical role in our Accounting Department by rating local and interstate shipments to ensure thorough and accurate billing. The performance of this function involves interaction with Operations, Customer Service, and external customers while reviewing bills of lading, weight tickets, estimates, addendum and inventories for compliance to ensure prompt payment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accesses files in Movers Suite such as bills of lading, weight tickets, addendum, estimates and inventories.
  • Verification of incoming and outgoing shipments in storage.
  • Sets up storage accounts including insurance, valuation, invoicing, and billing.
  • Billing includes office and industrial, local, intrastate, 3rd party, and other types of services.
  • Auditing and verification of 3rd party invoices
  • Calculates and enters revenue in Movers Suite.
  • Creates and audits invoices for accuracy.
  • Creates credit memorandums when necessary for incorrect billing.
  • Post transactions in Movers Suite to appropriate job/customer accounts.
  • Participates in payroll processing
