Dircks Logistics Hosts Operation Toy Box
Dircks Logistics hosted Scott Foundation’s inaugural Operation Toy Box, an online toy drive to benefit foster children on Saturday, November 12. At no cost to the Foundation, we stored and supplied pallets of toys that were then packed and prepared for distribution to offices of the Arizona Department of Child Safety around the state. The toy boxes will include messages of hope for children entering foster care for the first time. In addition to the courtesy services we offered, our own employees penned some of the special messages that will greet the children when they open their new box of toys. The notes will share stories of hope, courage and inspiration to help ease the fears of new children in the foster system. Through Operation Toy Box, foster children will discover the power of giving through a simple act of kindness.
